Port of Wisbech

Sister company to Galleywood Timber Products Limited is the Port of Wisbech Limited. Initially purchased in 2004, Port of Wisbech Limited holds the sole stevedoring licence from Fenland District Council, owner of the quayside, which entitles the company to load and un-load all ships that use the Port of Wisbech. Port of Wisbech Limited have a host of varied handling equipment including 2 Fuchs Rehandlers and a fleet of forklift trucks to facilitate fast and efficient load and discharge operations.

With 9 acres of outside storage and two warehouses for undercover storage, Port of Wisbech Limited is used as a home stockholding facility to customers. In addition, the Port operate an on-site weighbridge to assist loading of vehicles to their maximum capacity. Collectively, Galleywood Timber and Port of Wisbech own and operate two vessels, the MV Baltic Express and MV Baltic Arrow that run a Baltic liner service between Riga and Wisbech offering timely and reliable shipments.
